We're located in the Arts Precinct, 32 Burelli St, Wollongong, (Between Illawarra Performing Arts Centre and the Wollongong City Gallery.)
The site and bar are open throughout the day and at least an hour before each performance starts.
The Box Office is located within Illawarra Performing Arts Centre and is open weekdays from 10am – 4pm, and at least one hour prior to all performances.
While many evening shows are only suitable for adults, there is a range of shows for all ages (and tastes) during the Speigeltent Wollongong season, including shows specifically for kids and families. Please check the age recommendation provided with each show.
A mix of paid and free on- and off-street parking is available directly around the site, or within a short walk. Be sure to read parking signs carefully.
The Spiegeltent is also directly on the Free Gong Shuttle bus route, and easily accessible by public transport.

The Spiegeltent is enclosed, and shows will go ahead in all weather conditons. You may want to bring an umbrella or poncho, but there are also covered areas in and around Illawarra Performing Arts Centre where you can stay dry.
In the unlikely event of cancellation due to severe weather, we will email anyone who bought a ticket for that session and post a notification on our Spiegeltent Wollongong Facebook Page.
Yes! You can redeem your NSW Discover Entertainment vouchers at Spiegeltent Wollongong. You can also use Dine vouchers at the onsite cafe - The Social at IPAC.

Discover vouchers can be used for any ticket purchase by phone or in person at the Box Office, Monday to Friday, 10am – 4pm. (Please note they are no currently available for online bookings.)

We’re committed to delivering safe & enjoyable performing arts experiences, and are operating in accordance with NSW Health rules and guidelines for entertainment venues.
For everyone's comfort and to allow a bit more space between rows, this year we are reducing the capacity of the Spiegeltent to 75%. We are also doubling the amount of filtered airconditioning being pumped into the space. The Spiegeltent will be aired out between performances, and thoroughly cleaned daily.
As a condition of entry, all visitors must comply with NSW Public Health Orders in place at the time. Face masks are recommended while indoors.

Tickets for all shows at Spiegeltent Wollongong should always be purchased direct from our Box Office or from our website. Tickets purchased via websites including Viagogo, eBay, Gumtree, Facebook, or any other unauthorised sellers risk the possibility of being fake and void.

Yes - you can go straight to the venue with your e-ticket on your device.
Your ticket email has the subject line ‘Thank you for your order’ and a confirmation number. Just have your ticket/s ready on your phone to go straight through to the show! If you prefer, you can print your confirmation email at home or visit the venue box office during the season.
If you've chosen to collect your tickets from the box office, please arrive no later than 30mins prior to your session start time. You will need to show valid ID for collection.
Children 12 months and over need to have a ticket.
Proof of age is required at the time of booking/ticket collection, and may also be requested on admission. Please call the Box Office on (02) 4224 5999 or visit us between 10am - 4pm weekdays, or one hour before the show.
Discounted ticket prices are available for Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, MEAA and Australian Writer’s Guild card holders, as well as full-time students. Proof of concession is required at the time of booking/ticket collection and may also be requested prior to admission.
Please check your booking carefully at the time of purchase. Tickets cannot be refunded after purchase except if an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated as outlined in the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice. If you purchase tickets online or phone, a $6.95 transaction fee per transaction will apply. (This is for the whole transaction, not per ticket!).
No transaction fees are applicable when tickets are purchased in person at the Box Office.
This means that your ticket does not assign you a specific allocated seat at the venue, so it's first in, best dressed!
Some shows have a Premium seating area, and Premium ticket patrons will enter via the express queue for that event.
Being late affects performers and the rest of the audience. This is so important that some artists specifically ask that latecomers not be admitted. The Spiegeltent reserves the right to exclude latecomers until there is a suitable break in the performance.
If you are part of a group, please line up together and let front of house staff know and we will do our best to seat you together.

The Spiegeltent is wheelchair accessible and there are accessible toilets available at the site. We are also able to provide assistance to any patrons who may have mobility concerns.

Yes! Spiegeltent Wollongong supports the Companion Card program. Free Companion Card tickets are available over the phone or in person.
The following items are not permitted at Spiegeltent Wollongong.
The use of cameras, videos or other recording devices is strictly prohibited inside Spiegeltent and during performances.
Outside - we love happy snaps! Post them, share them and generally snap away (#SpiegeltentWollongong, @spiegeltentwollongong).
